 
TEXNOVO-TESALCA are the only organisations
that manufacture Spunbond polypropylene non-woven
in Spain. The three operating principles of
our organization are: Technology, Quality and
Service.
TEXNOVO was founded in 1989. In
1990 Texnovo opened its factory in Tarragona
with Reifenhäuser's REICOFIL 1 Spunbond,
3.20 m width line system, with an output capacity
of 2,000 tons.
Five years later a second Spunbond production
line was installed, with a width of 2.40 m,
using Reifenhäuser's REICOFIL 2 system,
providing an additional output of 2,000 tons.
In accordance with our plans for expansion,
a third Spunbond REICOFIL 3, 3.20 m line was
installed, thereby reaching a total per annum
output of 8,500 tons.
New objectives and market trends brought about
the founding of TESALCA in 2000, completely
dedicated to supplying the hygiene and medical
industries. As a result, REICOFIL's 3.1, SSMMS
system, 3.20 m production line, was put into
operation, yielding an annual production output
of 12,000 tons.
In 2001, TESALCA invested in a 4.20 m
width REICOFIL 3.1, SSXXS line,
increasing its annual output by 18,000 tons,
in order to maintain excellent service to and
flexibility on the part of our customers.
With the second multibeam investing in TEXNOVO's
line number 3 (Reicofil 3.0) TEXNOVO-TESALCA will achieve
a Spunbond annual output capacity above 40,000
tons, making it one of Europe's leading Spunbond
producers.
Similarly, after many years of supplying the
U.S. market and in accordance with our expansion
plans, we are happy to emphasize the opening
of our own distributing and converting warehouse
in North Carolina (USA) in mid-2001.
