The Spunbond product manufactured by Texnovo
and Tesalca, whether hydrophilic or that
which is treated in "zones", is used
as the "top sheet" in diapers with
brand-name as well with non-brand name manufacturers.
Similarly, the hydrophobic spunbond product
is used as the "textile back sheet"
component, giving the diaper high standard characteristics
and a better appearance.
You will also find high density (or heavier
weight) spunbond in diaper fastening tapes,
giving the diaper a more comfortable looking
finish.
Our five-beam SSMMS fabric is used both in the
leg cuff and, especially in the case of breathable
diapers, in the back sheet.

The SSMMS offers a significant advantage over
other barrier products because its unique composition
blocks high amounts of urine flow at a light
weight.
Finally, the SSMMS is currently being used in
certain types of diapers such as "space
layer" or as a tissue substitute.
Over the years baby diapers have experienced
major changes. No longer a product manufactured
using impermeable plastic materials, it has
become a comfortable, soft and breathable "garment"
without losing any of the diaper's basic features.
Nowadays babies and toddlers are comfortable
with this new diaper format that provides protection
against wetness and irritating rashes for a
longer period of time.
Latest studies point out that "the baby
is happier if he/she feels clean, dry and protected".
